Ingredients:
2 TBSP cup chili powder
1 tablespoon dried cumin
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 cup dried black beans
1/2 cup dried kidney beans
28-ounce can diced or crushed tomatoes (3.5 cups or 828ml)
1/2 of an 8 ounce can of tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
6-8 cups water
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer for 30-60 minutes until beans are soft.
For best results, transfer 1/2 of cooked chili to a blender, puree, then return to pot.
Serve in your favourite bowl!
