Ingredients
2 cups of elbow pasta
1/2 cup dried split peas
1/4 cup dried lentils
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp oregano
2 tbsp dried minced onion
1 tsp parsley flakes
1 veggie bouillon
1 can diced tomatoes
10 cups of water
Instructions:
Add 10 cups of water to a large pot; add bouillon cube and all ingredients EXCEPT pasta and tomatoes
Bring to a boil
Reduce head, cover, and simmer 20 minutes
Add tomatoes and pasta
Cover and let simmer until lentils and peas are tender (about 15-20 minutes)
Season to taste (salt + pepper, other spices as desired)
