Ingredients:
2 cups of split peas
1 tsp minced onion (dried)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp thyme leaves
1 tumeric
1/4 tsp of black pepper
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
5 cups of water
Instructions:
Add 5 cups of water and all other ingredients to a large pot
Bring water to a boil over nigh heat, reduce heat to low and simmer until the peas are tender and the soup is thick, about 45-50 minutes
Add more water if necessary to soften peas (Optional: puree for smooth finish)
Season to taste (add salt and pepper, other spices as desired!)
