For our October Mason Jar Meal, we are making Gluten-Free, vegetarian friendly Tricolor themed pancakes

This recipe is adapted from The Food Network
In your Mason Jar Meal you will find:
1 Cup All Purpose Gluten Free Flour
¼ cup Granulated Sugar
¼ cup Skim Milk Powder
1 tbsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
2 tbsp canola oil (separate container)
½ tsp of red, blue, and yellow food coloring (all in seperate containers)
Instructions
Empty the contents of the mason jar meal into a bowl and mix.
Add ¾ cups of water to the bowl and mix until completely incorporated.
Divide the batter evenly into 3 bowls
Add red food coloring to the first bowl, blue to the second, and yellow to third to create tricolor themed pancakes.
Warm a pan over medium heat and grease the pan with canola oil.
Pour around ¼ cup of the batter into the greased pan for each pancake (can be done 1 pancake at a time)
Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the pancake (s) are golden brown and cooked through.
Repeat until the batter is used up OR store the spare batter in the fridge for later use.
Optional: Serve with maple syrup and butter for extra flavour!
Serve and Enjoy!
