This delicious and easy winter chili yields 8-10 servings.
Ingredients:
2/3 cups of lentils
2/3 cups of green split peas
2/3 cups of yellow split peas
10 cups of water
1 cup of barley
1 tsp of chili powder
2 tsp garlic powder
28oz can diced tomatoes
1 tbsp cumin
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp onion powder/flakes
Instructions
Add 10 cups of water, jar ingredients & tomatoes to a large pot
Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer until tender and the chili is thick (about 1-1.5 hours)
Add more water if necessary to soften peas, lentils, and barley
