Mackenzie Romijn
Mackenzie Romijn is a third-year psychology student with a strong interest in youth mental health, health equity, and the social determinants of well-being. She is especially passionate about creating accessible, supportive spaces for underserved communities.
As a member of the student staff team, Mackenzie is excited to contribute to inclusive health initiatives and deepen her understanding of how research and digital advocacy can be used to promote community wellness.

Finishing his second year in the Arts & Science faculty at Queen’s, Aaronsaul’s passion lies in health equity, in particular ensuring accessibility to mental health services for intersectional identities in underrepresented communities.
Whether it be through his previous roles on-campus as an EDII Programs Facilitator at Yellow House Student Centre of Equity & Inclusion or off-campus as an Equity Ambassador for Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment, Aaronsaul is beyond excited to continue exploring his passions through this role at Student Wellness Services.

Hello, my name is Maya! I'm a third-year psychology student with a Life Sciences minor here at Queen's. I'm really passionate about mental health, especially when it comes to helping youth and young adults build confidence and feel empowered in their own lives. As someone who's always exploring ways to support emotional wellness and meaningful connection, I'm so excited to be a part of the Student Wellness Services team this summer working as a Health Promotion Assistant.
I'm looking forward to learning more about the health programs here at Queen's and making a positive impact by helping students feel seen, heard, and supported.

Hi, my name is Simran Powar (she/her), and I am a fourth year Life Sciences student passionate in community wellbeing, nutrition and health equity! Over the years, I have become interested in studying the intersectionality between food insecurity, disease prevention as well as culturally relevant health education.
Through this position, I am excited to support my peers at Queen's through programs that build practical food skills and encouraging inclusive conversations surrounding food access on our campus.
