Lentil Brown Rice Soup


  • 1 cup lentils of your choice

  • 1/2 cup uncooked brown rice

  • 1/2 cup green dried split peas

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tbsp dried parsley

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 2 vegetable bouillon cubes


  1. Add 8 cups of water and all the ingredients from the mason jar into a large pot.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then lower heat to medium and let simmer for 40 minutes with a lid. Stir occasionally.

  3. Season to taste with any additional salt and pepper, and enjoy!
